    ...and I' m sooooo stoked!!!

I literally placed the order under an hour ago.

The CV7005 are supposed to be identical to the NKT275 white dot normal gain... We shall see!!!

Now comes the waiting part... Anyone else rocking a cv7005 Sunface?

Did I read on the site that all of the NKT275's might have been restamped CV7005's?

I messaged Mike personally, he said they are identical to the white dot NKT275.
I'm just looking for some feedback from any users :)

Have one. Love it. Sold all my others. It's one of the best FF's I've played

Curious to know which other ones you sold. I have a Ti/UK one that's similar to the high gain white dot but I liked it better. Never tried the low gain white or red dot.

I had BC183, Ti/UK and this guy. It is much warmer that the TI/UK but still a decent amount of gain.

When I get it I will post a iPad video when I'm settled with it in my rig :dude

I'm VERY familiar with both white and red dot NKTs... and Mike says it's identical to a white dot (with the exception of a bit more attack) and they also have a bunch in the same gain range as the normal white dot NKT...
So it's basically a no brainer...

Now waiting is the hardest part!! :drool

So, you sold your NKT Sunfaces for the CV7005?... Or were they other FF clones?

I haven't seen any CV7005 SF demos anywhere, so I'm gonna make a short demo when I get it and then I will make a quality one within a week of having it!

Of course I guess that's like me saying "I've never heard/seen a white dot normal gain NKT275" demo (I've owned 1 red dot and 3 white dot Sunfaces)... Oh the suspense!!!!

I have an older '07 model NKT that ended my FF search. They are very expensive now, but I got it several years ago and just traded a pedal worth about $175-200, so it was just a fair deal for both at that time. I didn't realize how good it was until trying out some other FF's. I think if it comes from Analogman, put your worries to rest, you'll love it!

I know they're not available anymore, but what did you think of the red dots?

The red dot didn't clean up like the way I'm use to... It was also WAY too finicky.

But in the studio or in a cold environment, they are hard to beat!

Mine didn't like the slight bit of heat at all...
All of course "in my experience/rig"...

If I was doing well enough, I would have never sold any of them as everything Mike has ever shipped me was nothing short of amazing!

But in the end, I'm a white dot NKT275 normal gain type guy :dude

I'm sure that you are going to LOVE your Sun Face!

I have one with Ti/UK transistors and it's pretty darn sweet!

I've owned a couple FFs with the CVs in them and they are right up there with the NKTs imo.

Oh trust me fellas, you will get a demo ASAP...
It has to be built first:D
Im trying to not think about it LOL :drool

I think all would agree that you can't rush perfection...

It's prolly gonna get here Saturday or Monday and I will post a demo as soon as I dial it in on my rig (which won't take anytime at all if it's identical to a WD/NG NKT275 :dude

    Stay tuned...
