...supposedly in pristine condition. I'll pick it up this weekend. Will be using it for solo acoustic guitar & vocals, with about 55 gigs a year. Always been a Fishman SA220 fan and far prefer it to the Bose Compact, but I know this is a big step up in systems. Someone tell me it'll be as great as I hope it will be!!! And hopefully without too much of a learning curve...

Cool. Lots of Bose haters out there. Let us know what your experience is.

I bet you will love it. A friend of mine gigged with one and I always thought it was stellar.

Your application for this system is right on.

I've had opportunity to sit in with this system being used, and I was impressed with it for what it is.

They sound very good with solo acts.

I played solo through one a couple years back and thought it was very good indeed.

Where the hate for bose comes from is people trying to use a bunch of them for a band and they fall for the voodoo marketing of being able to throw sound farther etc. For your application, they are darn near perfect. Quick to set up and nearly impossible to make them sound bad. Ive used them solo and duo. With a little mixer, you can do quite a bit. Did you get the sub with it as well? Depending on your style, it might be worth getting one if it doesn't have it.

You bet -- the L1 Model II has the one bass unit and the ToneMatch mixer, and power to play to an audience of 500. I've always preferred my Fishman SA220 to the Bose Compact but this unit is bigger and better and more capable than both. Looking forward to it!
