I have had the opportunity to play three different K-line guitars . I think they are a steal for the money. The finish is ultra thin and the aging looks great. These guitars are great tone at a great price. Turn around time is amazing for a one man shop, and Chris is a great guy who really strives to get you exactly what you want. You can't go wrong

    How was the fret/nut work?

The frets were level and the neck was straight. The nut looked good, and had room left for personal preference. I spent four years learning to build guitars with Bill Moll at Moll Custom Instruments, so I don't feel I'm a complete novice at guitar buiding and set up. Chris's guitars look good.

They look very nice. How do they get away with using the Fender headstock shape?

They look pretty nice. I recently ordered a maple neck see through blonde S-Type from Chris. Can't wait.
Also waiting on a Revelator 56/57 E-Type that's supposed to be shipping today but I'm not holding my breath.:D

According to the website they use licensed parts.

They stuff looks great for the price, apart forn the obvious tan line necks.

I'm really not a relic guy, wonder if they do non relic stuff too.

These look very cool, especially for the money. J Gravity is only five minutes from my office. I'll have to check these out. I've not found a tele that has really jumped out at me. Maybe I need to try a reliced one. Others have been way out of my price range, though.

Chris is building me a Black relic "S" type as we speak, I can't wait. FYI, to the earlier poster's question, he does do non-reilc work, but according to Chris few actually request it. And from what I hear he does sweet finishes. He is great to work with.
    Peace...

Chris sent me a tracking # for the Strat. It should be here Sat. I can't wait.

As for the Revelator I'm still waiting. The Esquire was supposed to have been shipped 2 weeks ago. Mon. I get an email from Eric. "pictures and tracking # on the way". Still nothing.
I don't want to start anything but I've been told 3 times now that the guitar is being shipped and I still don't have it. I've yet to see a picture of the finished guitar. Full payment was sent over 2 months ago when I was first told the guitar was nearing completion.
Pretty poor way to run a business.

I've got a Sonic Blue S type on order with Chris also. He is great to deal with. I had so many choices to make, that I was a flip-flopping maniac for a few days. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Chris gives great service and communication through the process. I will definitely post a review when she comes in.
