got a stock DS-1 that sounds too thin and buzzy. which mod do you guys recommend?

i play mostly classic rock but i need high gain once in a while.

I've got a Keeley Ds-1, but to be honest, I much prefer the MI Audio Crunchbox I picked up this year. I'm more of an OD guy, but when I need something high gain, this is my go-to pedal.

I have a Keeley modded one. It sounds great on clean amps; thicker mids and more saturated, full sound. Only thing is, on more gain-focused amps, it's just mush...

Analogman DS1 rocks (old school) but for kicking ass distortion I would recomnmend CB it's just the greatest value in pedals.

I have both, the Keeley Ultra is more aggressive sounding.
