Here is a super quick one of my strat using the Sultan. Tried to get mellow and very clean. There is a lot of spank and articulate high end that gets lost when getting to the final MP3 but boy, it does sound really nice through nearfields in the room. Really, this clean is close enough to "my clean" and I would imagine through a really nice FRFR system it will sound great.
I can do a flac version of this if warranted, but you get the idea. Just a very little bit of room verb on this one. The FX are very good on this unit, maybe not as crisp as the II but useable for a guy like me.
I need to work out my volume/gain stages. I don't think the KPA has a seperate volume for headphones so I need to work out headphone volume, MV, volume in my audio interface. I'm also using analog out from the KPA when I want to use SPDIF (haven't had time to setup) and my audio interface adds a little to the tone as well. But KPA -> XLR out into nearfields is really, really good.

That's some nice pristines! Yhe Vibrolux profile that was floating around a while ago, is that a preset or do you have to download it? That one gave me shivers.

Hey sheguitarplayer, is there a place on the Kemper to plug in an iPod or an mp3 player to jam along with?

There isn't a specific input, but you can plug into the loop return if you have an appropriate cable and do it that way,no problem.
One of the other users on the KPA forum has pics showing how this is done, but I don't know if Im allowed to post links to another forum?

Sounds really good man. What is a Sultan?

Whatever fender it is, it'll have to do until we profile my Heritage Vic. Then you can upgrade;)

Coulda sworn i was listening to a fender style amp. :dunno

Sounds good regardless of my preconceptions.
