Mine doesn't do that at all... it's been bulletproof. It's only noisy on OD2 Red which has an insane amount of gain.

Btw. the first Elmwood clip consists of 10 different profiles - it's not only the volume pot on the guitar. (I profiled all the channels and drive switch options)
