My biggest concern is that it is capable of running 2 profiles...of which one a pedalprofiler....thats gonna cost me ;)
Im pretty confident they re gonna do that some day....

agree..they have a chance to take the market but my guess is being german they dont care much about taking any market so it will be a high price.

Will the floor unit release before the Editor?

Will the floor unit also profile rigs?

    Questions, questions, questions...

Kemper can't profile the Tube Screamer, which means it can't profile a bunch of pedals based on it. I think a pedal profiler ain't coming any day soon.

Mr C Kemper is a genius. He’s probably going to introduce a unit that compliments , not replaces the existing hardware. Only fools in this business continually introduce new hardware that entices existing users to sell their ‘outdated’ units. Rest assured, this is going to be epic. :omg Hopefully the long awaited editor will accompany this :banana

I wouldn't expect this to be cheaper than a non-powered KPA toaster, and can't imagine its being ~$1000. You're looking at the same core functionality (ability to play KPA amp profiles), probably most if not all of the ancillary functionality (Kemper effects), and all the costs associated with mechanical switching that won't fall apart underfoot. It's a $1500 SKU minumum; $2K+ seems more likely.

Compatibility would be one potential reason for not providing more horsepower. There are pros and cons either way. Agree with Ejay that adding enough umph to allow for multiple kipr blocks (series or parallel) would be killer.

dont be silly- many people here will buy it and keep the rack and the helix and the gt1000 and the fractal and the headrush.

And Kemper's only giving us 5 days for wild speculation and building unrealistic expectations and ridiculous claims of superiority/inferiority of the assumed product's specifications? :dunno

Hopefully they give whatever it is more processing power so the high end isn’t so funky sounding.

If it's ~$1500 and profiles rigs, I'm in. Let's see if they pull a Fractal and announce it, but give no ship date for months. That'd be awesome! I love waiting months to make a decision!:bkw

Now if they can deliver right from the moment it is announced, that would be amazing!

Do you think it would drop the price of the foot controllers for the current KPA's? (very wishful thinking, I know)
