Ok, I haven't used a "stock" profile since the first week getting this thing. Started going back through and could sort of faceplate myself! LOL!

    The TAF profiles:
    • TAF ManRock 800
    • TAF JTM Push
    • TAF-JCM800
    • TAF-Statesman Clean

are all I would really need to get through a show with my corp gig. We do anything from Beatles > Tina Turner > Maroon 5 > Journey/Styx. A few adjustments to the effects/stack (and I mean minor) and these are good to go. They are probably the best profiles that shipped with my Kemper IMHO.

    Props Andy.

I just did the same thing when I finally installed V.3 last night. Sat down and went through all the current stock profiles. Ears are super fatigued but I was really impressed with some of the profiles. Wayyyy better than what came with my unit 3 years ago. Liked some of those stock TAF profiles better than the ones I paid for. The ACE rig pack is another I also found to be pretty nice.

I haven't upgraded to V.3 yet. Waiting for the update. Too many things going around about issues. I'm looking forward to it though.

If you go to the Kemper support page (where you download firmware updates), if you use the drop down menu, it will take you to all the old rig packs. They are available to download... enjoy.

The new factory content is part of the firmware, but isn't installed automatically, since that would obviously displease quite a few people.

In the first page of the SYSTEM menu, there is a soft button labeled 'Factory Rigs' which will add the factory content to your rigs.

alternatively, you could just download the rig pack(s) and click and drag the rigs into Rig Manager.

Thanks Don! Any news on the updates for the 3.0 bug fixes "officially" or otherwise?

I am in no rush personally and am still hesitant of updating. I know I can always go backward but ...
