Most of his amps have been fairly average tweed copies at a pretty high price (compared to Victoria, say). Well enough built and some are pretty nice. If you love it, buy it, but don't pay too much!

See if there is a label inside the cabinet with a date on it, if so, what is the date? I can tell you more from there.

I might of wired up part or all of it, there were only 3 of us wiring chassis at that point. It's a 59 Bassman circuit with a few tweeks in a 2x12 cab. They used high quality parts and were hand wired. They used Pacific transformers which Bruno and others also used ( I think Ken Fisher turned Gerald on to them.). If the price is good and you like it, it's worth having.

These are great sounding amps! I've had a few Kendricks over the years and they all sounded exceptional IMHO. I'd say, if the price is right jump on it!

I love my KSpot! Incredible sounding amp in every regard, with reverb too!
Beautiful Art Deco cab to boot!

You sound pretty blown away. Just on it. Kendrick's really have their own thing going on,
    they're delicious!

I've played several Kendrick amps. All were fantastic. Yet, pricey to me.
The shop is 10 min. from my house. All the guys have been cool and I've had some work done on a couple of amps. Even played a set neck Kendrick guitar they were having made. I dug it.
I haven't been by the shop since '09 though.
Might be time for a visit.;)

LOL, indeed :banana Not Webber amps, The owners name is Gerald Weber but Kendrick is the company name. I think it was his wife's maiden name.

First time I went to the old place it was literally in the middle of nowhere, now it's surrounded by an ocean of subdivisions. Only names I can remember is Gerald, Terry, Wally, and some blonde guy that wore suspenders all the time.

50 watt 2x12 or 30 watt 2x10? Not that it matters that's a great price either way.

$1400 is too much for a Kendrick, IMHO, unless you want to own it forever. $450 for a BG? Killer price!

I have a Black Gold 15 and it is fantastic. 2 low power amps in one, each driving a separate 10" speaker. Sounds great by itself and even handles effects really well too.

this particular 2212 maybe be overpriced but it runs circles around the bg. imho. which is also very nice. the 2212 immediately put a smile on my face.
