Greg Martin is tearing it up! I love this guys tone, classic Marshall/LP tone in spades.
Never really listened to 'em before. They sound great. Thanks for sharing.
Greg is so underrated. When I wanna get my old school blues rock on, Greg's playing hits the spot.
That's the way a rock lead guitar is supposed to sound.
Love the Headhunters! We play a couple of their tunes in one of my bands and the crowd really eats 'em up.
Greg just plugs his 58' Les Paul into his old 60's Marshall's(no pedals!) and gets a killer tone !
Those cats' can still RAWK love em'!!!!!
Thanks for posting, great, great Marshall/LP tone!
I don't know a lot about Marshall amps, but his looks weird.
Isn't the logo smaller than normal?
The Bass player makes the Precision look like a toy guitar!
GM is a great player...
100 watt large box heads. That was the size logo used until about 1976 when they went to the large logo.
Thanks for posting!
Love Greg's playing and tone.
Greg is the tonemeister.
Greg is a good buddy, he sounds great with the Heads and I've seen him play with Jimmy Hall on the boat, and he killed on that, too.
What's the story with the vintage Tele.
And Pete, what boat?
I love this band... when I saw them he was using a standard with seymour duncan pearly gates... I asked. I think he was pumping the marshall with an overdrive too. awesome..
Here's his amp settings from last summer
Brother Greg rocks. I think he pulls two of the tubes and uses KT88s, or something like that.
I also like his work with the Stray Cat Blues Band (here in Louisville) and with The Mighty Jeremiahs.
this rig pic is just awesome... thanks
