Fuchs ODS30 and Fargen BB30 are two that immediately come to mind. Both very good, but what else are you looking for besides output tube configuration?

The Carr Slant 6V is another excellent example, as is the Orange Rockerverb 50 and Dr. Z Remedy.

JJs 6v6s run at 500 volt plate voltage so they can replace a 6L6, since an EL-34 is a 6L6 with a different bias point they also replace EL-34, I have them in my hot rod deluxe,

    http://www.eurotubes.com/euro-e.htm

my mark iv runs 6v6s as well, the tweed power is a lower voltage so it runs most 6v6s, I am running the mesa 6v6s they sound great, and its four 6v6s as the OP requested, mesa spec JJs 6v6 should let me run both full and tweed power, just thought of that and emailed eurotubes about it.

You can try to track down the granddaddy of 'em all - a Jim Kelley 30/60! :)

ACtually, no, the grand-daddy of them all was the Montgomery Ward "Suitcase Amp". A split chassis design (preamp in one part, power amp in the other) with 8 8" speakers in a folding design. You set it up by opening it with the speakers outwards. Two identical channels with V/T/B and tremelo controls. Mine puts out about 10-15w, so it's either not healthy or it's a true class A design. Interestingly the speakers are 4 8 ohm speakers in series, then paralleled for 16 ohms...

EDIT-Hey John C.- Nice to hear from you. You bought my Ghia a long time ago. Give me a PM and I can tell you all about the 3 Monkeys Orangutan. I've had one for over six months and love it.

A 40 watt Ark Model B (4 x 6V6) has been talked about for a while now (more clean headroom), hopefully by the end of this year we will have one to demo...
