I would kindly draw your attention to my sig.
VVT Derringer Model
IMHO the Victoria Double Deluxe would arguably be the very best example of a 4X6V6 confuguration on the market .
Dr. Z Remedy
Tone King Meteor
Tone King Comet
I hate you. But besides that, how does it sound?
Tophat makes the ambassador 35 and a 4 6v6 version of the emplexador. DestroyAllGuitars has info on the emplex.
The Orange Rockerverb 50 has 4 X 6V6's.
Awesome. Everything the MII was with more flexibility and thickness.
It's great sounding amp, here are some clips:
Oldfield Club deluxe plus. I just bought one and it sounds great. It is a combo with a 1/12 1/10 configuration and comes stock with tone tubbys and tung sol tubes... check it out!
+1. If I were in the market and not building my own, 3 Monkeys would be a top candidate for me!
Cool stuff. Is that all the way up on the rhythm channel? Sounds good. It sounds very present, but with some bend around the edges. I could not warm up to Mark's Meteor series, because it was always a little too clean for where I was going (great sounding, just not for me). This sounds like a cool step for him towards a looser and warmer amp. :BEER
That is a fantastic thing to say. I'd like to return the compliment and say that your amps aren't too shabby either!!!
I do think the clean channel has a bit more crunch turned up than the Meteor. And the wattage control lets you bring it down to usable volume levels. Also, the amp has a bit more meat in the mids than the Meteor, but still possees the upper mide "chime" of the Meteor.
Victoria Double Deluxe
I guess we all have different idea's of "killer" 6V6 tone! lol!
how about this one?
Southbay Ampworks Major Crunch - 4 6v6s that get the best Marshall tones you've ever heard.
I love the ones I played. Great, musical sounding amps for sure over at the Nolatone room
