All three nights were really great. It was fun watching from the comfort of home. The Zero show on Thursday was fantastic, their setlist was one for the ages.

What amps are those? I think the sticker one is a dumble?

YA dumble and Bandmaster i think?

Also does Steve still use like 12's or 13's on the white strat? i see him bending strings here and there. not that it cant be done but..Paging Kimock

50 watt Dumble, Mesa Baron power amp, and a little DeArmond R5T.
Same rig I did most of the Zero gigs with, KVHW, Missing Man, bunch of the post-Dead stuff.
is that dumble tube rectified or solid state? (sorry if stupid question)

I've been listening to Steve's show last night about two tunes at a time, all day long today, I'm going to listen to the second set straight through tonight.

Man, that's nice tone.

Wonderful and special shows Steve, very awesome of you to stream all three nights.

What's your reverb scheme in this rig now? I never fully understood your reverb set up with the Bassman and Dumble (and/or other assorted amps) that you've used the last couple of years. I could hear that it was spring driven but very dynamic and now hearing these recent shows, I immediately recognized that Zero/KVHW/SKB tone of yours and although the reverb hints at the LXP-1 sound you've used, it's still somehow springy or different than a straight hall sound. Could it possibly be a Neunaber verb? It sounds damn good and expressive in the rig.

Also, does the Mesa act as a power amp for the DeArmond preamp? That is a great sound! Like a low watt amp cranked and then power amped up to a larger band/stage dynamic? Gracias.

The reverb is a stereo Wet.
That's most of it.
Occasionally there's some RV3 ping-pong delay in there too.
I bought that pedal new. Kinda scary. .

The DeArmond isn't a "preamp" exactly, it's a whole amp, a single-ended 6V6 combo with a 10 inch Jensen. I get the signal right from the speaker connections.
You hear the whole amp basically.
You can think of both the Mesa and Dumble as power amps at that point.

I met Mr. Kimock once. I was picking up my Panaramic (rebranded Magnatone) amp at a repair shop in Emmaus, PA and he was there as well. I didn't know who he was at the time. He knew the amp and commented about how great the cleans were in this amp and asked to play through it. He used I believe a 60's gold top LP through it with the amp dimed. Suffice it to say, that's the best sound that amp has had come out of it!
