While I do believe that Kirk uses the wah too much, I think his wah sound is good for metal. It really jumps at you, and if you are a metal player (read with actual distortion, not with singe coils, not through a toy 15W amp) then this might be the wah for you.

I wonder how this compares to the 535Q.
