Tone Pros owns Kluson and has dramatically increased the quality and performance of them while maintaining the classic vintage look. They have made them locking; I do not know if they have made them staggered though.

Disclosure: my company does work for Tone Pros.

I know Gotoh makes a staggered set of Kluson style tuners. I don't know if they offer any that lock as well.

I've seen the Gotoh Klusons that lock and have adjustable post heights so you can stagger them however you want. They're expensive as hell though.

    Gotoh 510 H.A.P.M.
    +/- $75,-

Gotoh 510s H.A.P.M. come with height adjustable posts (!) so you can adjust to "stagger need", and are locking tuners (Magnum lock).
Absolutely cool looking and gorgeous! Probably the finest vintage looking tuners to date in terms of function and quality!

Disclamer: no, I have no connection!

I dont see them on that page?
They would be the SD series right?
But I dont see a 510 HAPM listed with those?
Also I have not seen them at any USA stores.
    Thanks,
    Mike

The only 510's I've seen are not Kluson retrofits.

I don't know the model number, but the sets on the Allparts site look like this and are $105 for chrome and $115 for gold. If anyone sees them for cheaper, I'd definitely like to know!

    Mike,

Sorry, thought it was the correct link, please try this one:

    http://www.gitarrebass.de/magazine/9803/blade.htm

The photo of this Blade S type is not very big, but at least you know they are in use.
I live in Europe so I did not even know that Allparts offered them...$130,- is a bit expensive but quality is excelent.
