Picked up the LP a while back and just recently got a turntable. Hadley Hockensmith takes a spin on the opening track "Pilgrim's Progression" and his sound is amazing. Fiery note choices, phrasing and tone--reminds me of Larry Carlton's sound on "Don't Give It Up".

Anybody know what Mr. Hockensmith used on this live recording? It's mid-80s, would it be a Mesa MKII C+, a Jim Kelley?

    Anyone?

If you don't know the group, it's Abe Laborial, Bill Maxwell, Hadley Hockensmith, Alex Acuna, Justo Almario, and Harlan Rogers.
