Over a year of dreaming and waiting, my dream custom small box jazz guitar is here. The pictures are mediocre, but I had to get something up on the day I received it.

    Specs:

Semi-hollow thinline (hand carved, bent sides like a large archtop)
Neck, top, sides, back, tone block all Korina
Color is Opaque nitro "Mary Kay Tan" with slight sunburst on edges
3 ply binding throughout, tortoise on the outside
Brazilian Rosewood fretboard 10 - 12 inch conical radius
25 inch scale, medium C shape carve
    Stainless Steel Frets
no fretboard inlays, but subtle side MOP rectangles
    Burl rosewood headstock cap
    Lollar Imperials (std wind)
Push pull phase inverter, Push Pull coil tap
Tonepros bridge/tail piece with Graphtech saddles (a must for me)
    one of Sauls copper pickguards....

    Hope you guy's dig it!:AOK

Looks to be well worth the wait (and then some!) Another classy creation from Saul.

Looking forward to a report after you've had some quality time with it.

Enjoy it in the best of health,

    Edward

Yeah guy's, I'll get back when I get to know her better. So far it's been amazing. Great open sound, with that airy sound you'd expect from a semi-hollow. It's more than I had even dreamed it'd be in every respect.

mprvise, had a great time buddy. Your D/13 9/15 is easily one of the best sounding amps I've ever heard. The DL sounded killer through it...

Wow, congratulations. I really like the slight sunburst. And welcome to the naked fretboard club. If you're able, how does it compare to a "standard" 335 sound? And how does the korina (~mahogany) top differ from a maple top?
