1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

My Son is a lucky boy, he just got his first really good guitar! I ordered him a Koll Jr. for his 11th birthday which is today. He got it yesterday, Saul really crunched to get it here in time, which is much appreciated, thanks again Saul!

He is in Heaven, playing it for 4 or 5 hour straight last night! The guitar is awesome, finish is great as usual and the tone is sweet.

WOW! Beautiful guitar. But even more beautiful smile on that boy.

You are doing it right by embracing your child's interest and supporting it. Made me smile too!

Nothin' warms my heart more than seeing a young man with a P90 guitar. You're certainly pointing him in the right direction.

I tried to start him out with versitile guitar and something that he would want to play and look at years from now. We started with something totally different, thank God that Saul has a healthy back log because that gave us enough time to come to our senses! LOL

Joe, maybe in due time your son can trade his new Koll in on something nicer - something with a pointy headstock, really loud humbuckers, and a nice Floyd system. ;)

Seriously though; that's a great gift. Beautiful way to embrace his interests, and give him something that he will enjoy playing and be proud to own for years to come. Nice work!

I am a mean old man, but I swear, it is stuff like this that softens my blackened heart and makes me want to be a better person.

You should buy yourself another Koll for being such a good dude.

    HA!

It was an honor to help a cool dad out!

For those who order custom instruments, it is a known fact that builders are often working in "luthier time" where a week to the builder is more like a month to the buyer, etc. (As hard as we try...we mean well, really!)
Here was one order where there was absolutely no way I was going to be late! I mean, look at that boy's face!!:)
