Thanks. I would like to point out that the one named Bartsnippet is a Komet on the rhythm guitar not the lead, which was a two rock emerald pro.Originally posted by Timster
The Calgary shootout soundfiles are nice. I can only imaging how loud it must have been, though Very nice sounding amp.
the shades files were good also.
Nice clips and tone, PAF!Originally posted by PAF
HEre's a couple of files from jam tracks we did at the LPF & TFF forums:
This one's a USACG tele thru Komet 60:
This one's a 58 RI LP thru Komet 60
Just a bit of analog delay on the tele track. Pardon the clams =)
All those clips from Calgary were done the same way if a recall. All full volume but through a Marshall Power Brake into a vintage 4x12 cab. The brake kncked the volume down quite a bit. Thanks for saving those clips btw... I'd lost them long ago.Originally posted by tonedaddy
The AC50 clip was from Calgary, right?
If so, how loud was the Vox?
Umm. The Calgary clips are humbucker (vintage Flying V), plugged straight in... Sorry, can't help you with the Lynch/Freed thing.Originally posted by shinrock
i want to hear humbucker / komet / lynch or audley freed style plugged straight in. then i may consider one. all i have heard is soft core noodling. let`s hear it. another thing is most clips are just lead and that is bull . an amp can sound great for leads but suck at rythem.
