1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

this is through a 2-12D Divided By 13 cab, with regular greenbacks.... Suhr strat with V60LP pickups... gradual mode, on about 4 on the amp (plenty loud and lots of headroom)...

next up, I'll do the fast mode clip with my LP and 335!

Hey Pete--your movie-skills are improving! Just funning, very nice tones and playing! Can't wait for the LP & 335 (Timbucker's, right?).

:) thanks. I should add- my Suhr is not behaving, lots of fret rattle right now.. so it would sound better if that were not the case. But I think it still sounds great! The amp kills for clean stuff too! Never mind about EL34's being a compromise for clean sounds- I love it! Also- might sound great through an open back cab with blues or maybe more "fendery" speakers for stuff like this, but even the run of the mill greenbacks sound good I think. Add some reverb and/or echo and maybe a compressor...

335 is PAF's, the LP is Tims..... and ya I'm starting to enjoy my amateur filmmaking... for anyone that doesn't have one- go get a Mac, now! Way too fun. On 2nd thought, you guys with whining GF's, don't get one, it'll only get you into more trouble.

Ever had any guitars PLEKed? Rodney Millar is nearby in Westwood and did many of my guitars, he's very good.

Also, there was nice "natural reverb" on that clip, your room and/or the Concorde, but it sounded very nice as is!

Thank you John, I should take a trip down there soon! it's a stellar guitar, it just needs a little tweaking after a year of touring, etc. The low "e" is buzzing when played open, and there's some fret rattle that's developed, so I'm sure some tlc from you guys will have it back to 100%. I'll ring you to set that up on monday.

Yes, I was playing with Jewel. Still do, but she's not doing much full band stuff for the rest of the year- going to tour solo in november. She's very good playing all by herself...

thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm really a fan of this amp and admittedly I love showing it off, it just sounds awesome.

Hey , I'm not him , but yes he is. (true stmt and attempt at humor) the same guy who played with Jewel. Another local guy here who I used to do gigs with a long time ago , named Bill Mullins played with Jewel too . (this is a true stmt) I wish I could play with Jewel.( that is a true stmt) Marko might be able to cuz he'll have the same exact amp as Pete therefore he'll the same EXACT awesome tones, therefore he probably could ... (this is an attempt at humor)

Have a good one and thanks for the videos Pete!
