Dear Korg SV1 users: I'm looking for a way to use external effects pedals (Empress Reverb), yet still use the SV1 headphone jack for playing at night when the family is sleeping. Is there any way to do this?

The SV1 has stereo inputs and outputs, but I don't think either of them serve as an effects loop, per se.

    You just need a mixer.

Assume I'm an idiot. What's the routing order between mixer, keyboard, and studio monitors?

Keyboard > pedals > mixer > headphone out // studio monitors?

Yes. Failing that, a cheap headphone amp will work nicely.

You could do that if the signal coming from the keys works well going straight into the pedals. Or if the mixer has an FX send you could go keyboard straight into the mixer, then go FX Send -> pedals and then bring the pedal chain back into an unused channel on the mixer.

You've probably already figured this out, but I've been able to go from output one on the SV1 into a rack reverb and delay, into the SV1 input, then from output two into my amp. You could probably use the headphone jack there too.
