I've had my big shoebox-sized unit (ok, maybe that's a stretch) for about a year and I still love it.

I have the big Mega Vibe. Sounds just like Hendrix at Woodstock.

Wow this is what I've been talking about going way back over a year ago. The Megavibe Rules!! This is what I reply'd to a TGP member after asking some questions about the MEGAVIBE.

Hey John, this is my second one so this pedal is not new Vibe to me.. I cannot live without it, and I've tried about every vibe out there and stopped looking after getting the megavibe. Read all the posts that I made about headroom, and it sounding good no matter where you put it in the signal chain, and it just having a better throb than any other vibe. Everyone that has owned a real Uni-vibe from the sixties says this one sounds just like it.. Also some Vibes distort the signal, and you really notice it when you use an acoustic guitar, but the Megavibe stays clean no matter what. Also the M-Vibe and D-Vibe both get a weak and thin sound when you turn the intensity down, well the Megavibe stays nice no matter where the intensity is, it just has less vibe effect.. And they both distort the signal a little so you can't get a perfectly clean signal sound. Believe me if you've tried the other ones you would agree with me that the Megavibe is the ****, and is far saperier than the other vibes on the market. Now there are a few new Vibes like the Ubervibe, and that Tube Vibe that I haven't tried so I cannot comment on them..I'm one of the people the use vibe alot in my set even during leads and such.. If you have any questions please ask. These are only my opinions, and this thread is to rejoice over a great pedal that seserves it.

I love my Mega Vibe.(small box version).I used a real Uni-Vibe back in the day and I was immeadeatly hooked the first time I tried my new KR vibe.. it's a great peice of gear. If you like Vibes...
I bought a second one that was 4 sale on the board and let my buddy try it out.. He was pleasently surprised and ended up buying my extra one.. I figured that would happen..
I also enjoy my Gypsy Fuzz and the Douber as well. I bought those on TGP too! I plan on trying all the KR stuff....

I think I need to give the Megavibe a whirl as I've been less than happy with my Mini Deja Vibe as of late. :( I'm going for that Woodstock/Band of Gypsys vibe tone and it seems as though I'm always struggling to get the right throb intensity and thickness happening??

I got it used and most of the graphics had cracked off from tape and goo remover so I decided to give it a fresh look. I figured who else but jimi could go on there :AOK
