Any suggestions on a nice KT66 amp? I have an SE amp that takes different tubes and I love the KT66 best! Who makes an amp with 1 or 2 KT66's? Is that what the JTM45's have? I love the sound but don't want a huge Marshall.

THD Flexi sounds great with a pair of 66s or an EL34/KT66 combination.

Louis Electric JTM45 clone runs on two KT-66. It's very nice.

a JTM 45 should do it. I think the Germino C45 used to use them, but he now uses EL 34's. Louis Electric will put them in his Bluesbreakers or JTM 45 type heads if you spec them, and in some of his 1x12 combos (i.e. KR12).

Yes, yes. I love KT-66's too. The Valve Arts
do me right. Here is a set in my Rockytop 45.
Nothing beats those gigantic, fat, bluesy low-mids
that the 66's throw down. Dont play a Les Paul
    without 'em!

A JTM45 (or a clone thereof) is only about 33watts - a Goldilocks amp, just right, yum, yum. I love KT66's too.

    Best, Pete.

My Z Rt.66 is by far the best sounding amp I've ever played & I've had everything under the sun. The Rt.66 just nails the tone I have in my head.

My Route 66 has been my #1 amp for several years now. It's scary good sounding and built rock solid. I simply can not recommend this amp enough.
