KVM Switch

Hello...

I just got a Mac Pro to be used only for recording and would still like to use my G4 for other non-recording tasks.
I also got a new LCD monitor and would like to use one kb, one mouse and the monitor with both computers.

Can anyone recommend a good KVM switch that would work with this setup?
Preferably one that has DVI and USB connections??

A friend of mine was also telling me about using a software based switching system called Synergy....I may look into that as well
