Sam Adams Boston Lager is my favorite lager, especially if it's on tap.

Red Stripe was good (the original, that is) but no more.
Rolling Rock has taste but not much of anything else.
    Tsingtao - OK
Grolsch - OK beer, OK bottles.
But, whatever beer you drink, wash it down with some Dutch chocolate vodka.

Founders Solid Gold is great for the style and good for the price ($18 to $20/ 24 pk)
Hamms is good for the style and great for the price. ($13-$15/30 pk)
Sam Adams is very tasty but I'd rather drink it on tap than bottled.

I drink Oktoberfest lagers, for the most part, when I have a lager. Schwarzbier is good, too, a black lager. I do not like most American lagers.

Cheap everyday? Yuengling. Drank several thousand of them in college. Still like.

I'm getting boring in my response to beer threads - just over a mile down the road from me is a local brewer called Sooke Brewing. The currently have Czech and Vienna styles of lager flowing from 2 of their 10 taps, and they are both quite tasty. Well worth the trip from Victoria to sample on the premises!

Stella, Pilsner Urquell, Sam Adams Boston Lager. Then whatever the local breweries are doing. Stella was my default lacking other options. I will also drink bottled Bud, lol. Starting to forget as I drink infrequently these days. Can't remember some of the local ones from the Northwest, but often I opted for those. I tried them all back in the day.

Personally I think it should be overthought.

Some are better than others. Drink the better ones. :)

This one is good (sorry for the huge picture), that Pilsener Urquell is good stuff too. I kinda like Yuengling Premium too - it's really cheap.
