Lance is the best at amp reviews. I love when he plays with the full band. Makes buying amps a lot easier online.

I find myself checking out gear I had no interest in just to catch Lance's playing. Lance always sounds great. Soulful, great sense of rhythm, and he never overplays.

He's one of the guys I seek out for gear demos. Mike Hermans is the other. And Greg V.

I've got an amp on order now because of one of his videos.

Big fan... but it's not the amps, as good as they are. It's Lance - I think Lance could get great tone out of a Cigar Box and Rubber Bands.

I completely agree. Lance, Greg V, and Pete Thorne all do great demos and seem like really cool people.

    M40A1,

I'm getting the Landry LS100G3. Lances videos of the first version LS100 sold me.

How does he get everything to sound so good ?
    They all can't be winners.

I agree. Videos like his make shopping a little easier and provide some good opportunities to steal riffs from a great player.

I hear you, but top demo guys are being compensated to make these products sound good, not to objectively highlight weaknesses a piece of gear might have.

I'd much rather hear a good player demo an amp than a hack. The hacks don't have the technique and dynamics that a good player does, and because of that, it's hard to tell what the amp can really do. A bad player doing a demo of a great amp still sounds bad in my opinion.

Lance almost tricked me into putting a deposit for a Bludo a few years back.....
    Dangerous guy! :waiting

And he sounds great with a good bit of gain and not using a pick, which also is quite rare in my book.

I would blame Lance for a lot of GAS'n!! When I saw the At Mars Specialist Video I went on the hunt for one! Now I have one, what a great amp!
The way Lance plays is very inspiring, man he can dig into a note!
    Keep the demos coming.

    Thanks Lance
