So, I borrowed my friend's Laney AOR 75w 1x12 combo. It's a nine-knobber with broken reverb. This thing is darker than my ValveKing, which I thought impossible. Am I doing it wrong? The only knob with a pointer is the master, so I can't figure my exact settings, but it's hyper compressed and it's like the really high freqencies (where all the chunk is) are being chopped off. Anyone got some good settings for metal? I'm thinking of getting this or a Crate Blue Voodoo head. Currently I'm leaning towards the Crate.
