I've been after lightweight amps that will be loud enough to
play with a drummer. And liked the demos of the Laney Cub 10
    So ordered one...
    1x10 combo, 2 12ax7, 2 6v6

I dig this little amp !! $249 shipped to my door
Gets a wide range of sounds, including a gritty clean.
This amp is definitely loud enough for any club I've played at.

The box is very resonant which gives real dimension to it all.
My Pro Jr sounds flat next to it.

The downside is the speaker, Tube 10 by Celestion.
I'm already looking into other speakers.
The Tube 10 is 3 lbs... so maybe that's why Laney choice it ??
Just to keep the weight down...
It certainly wasn't for the sound.

Guess another downside is a short power cord.

At $249, I could end up paying more by trying different speakers
than I spent on the amp...
I'll report back after I try a few

Oh Yeah... absolutely loves pedals !!!!

    Lugging Heavy is History !!!!

    Hey, it's $249
