Please give me the good the bad and the ugly on them...look interesting and some of the online clips sound good but there aren't any in my area to try in person...

quite liked them- though i felt they were quite expensive, too (and i'm in northern ireland, in the UK, where laneys tend to be better value than most). they felt like "better" vc series amps.

i have the 2x12 cabinet, which is nice, though (but i got it for a good deal).

I had an L5T-112. It was a great amp... I didn't realize just how great it was until it was gone... Did great Voxy glassy cleans and great Marshall like grind at reasonable volume levels. I lucked out and picked it up off a CL ad for $500. You'll be hard pressed to find another going for $500, but it does happen.

I picked up a Lionheart L20 T112 (20 watt combo) a few weeks ago in a straight swap for my Peavey C50 4x10. It wasn't planned that way, in fact I'd just bought an AC30C2X and really didn't need another amp but the C50 wasn't moving and the Lionheart looked like something I could probably sell easier.

I've used it at rehearsal for the last few weeks. I won't be selling it any time soon. It's a superb little amp.

I have a Laney Lionheart L5t 112. Best amp EVAH!!! Seriously, it's just an unbelievable amp. Great cleans and yes you can Marshall it too. Takes pedlas superbly and is great at low volumes which is maybe it's biggest selling point. But it can get REALLY loud for a 5 watt amp. It's really handsome too, but a touch heavy for a 5 watt amp. There is no amp I recommend more highly.

x2. Excellent tones at living room volume and very versatile.

Loving the LT5-112. Loud for 5 watts but sounds so good at low volumes as well. Amp is solid and appears to be built very well. Takes pedals great, trying different ones out now. Can't recommend it enough.

anyone own the 20w version?
Yep, I got one in a straight swap. See my previous post in this thread.

I use it with a telecaster, Bright switch on, drive channel, drive up about half way and back off on the guitar to clean up. It's a lovely sounding amp. The clean channel is also really nice. The only thing that's missing for me is tremelo but a coolcat pedal takes care of that.

I've owned the VC30, LC30, Cub 12R, and now a L5T-112. I've loved them all, but I mostly noodle around at home, and the L5T-112 is absolutely the best for that environment. Never have cranked it up with a band to see if it could hang. Always felt like I could just throw a SM57 in front of it and blend it with the PA mix if it had issues in a larger setting. I supposed you could also run the preamp out to a tube power amp like a Mesa 50/50 or even a Bad Cat Unleashed, and then send that to a 4x12 for arena rock!

The Lionheart is a phenomenal amp.
