Yea, I like the right angle kit better but the straight plugs are still great. I used to use George L's but had issues so I switched to these, Highly recommended!

I've heard they sound great with less tone-suckage than the George L's. I may redo my pedalboard with them.

Yes. I use a mix of both the straights and the right-angles on my new pedal board. On the old one, it was all straight. These connectors/plugs, along with two new cables from lavaman to the board and from board to amp, added up to a rather dramatic tone change. I thought cable related tone claims were all hype. At least for lava cables, it's not hype. Very fine stuff.

I switched to these from George L's. Warmer tone, less high end harshness. Noticeable.

They rock. I have 5 or 6 of the kits, both right angle and straight. Do some searching and you'll find lots of detailed reviews on these cables, the vast majority of them very positive.

You will hear a tone difference if you switch over from George L. I have right angle and the straight plugs on my boards. If I was going to reorder, I'd probably go all right angle. They're great. No failures yet.

sounds great testing things in the garage, cant wait to crank it up next rehearsal.
already sounds better (more balanced) to me than the george Ls i was using.

I replaced canare and George L's with Lava ELC and Lava ELC mini. It was like night and day. Warmer, more balanced tone, but it still has the treble bite I need to get my tone.

    I love em'.

I use 'em as well. It really does have a positive tonal impact, IMO.

I use a mix of straights and 90s. Love them - yes, I noticed a difference.
