LED's, Power jacks, batteries and tone

    Do you find that pedals can sound better without LEDs, and running only on battery?

    Does the lack of power supply jack and led become a problem, or are some pedals so good without them that it does not bother you?

    Just a friendly inquiry, as different people have different feelings on this subject!

    The only times I ever notice battery or power supply differences are with fuzz pedals.

    people just tend to think that whatever's older/more difficult/less user-friendly/more limited is "better sounding".
