Left handed Fenders and Gibsons are hard to look at

Left handed guitars in general look wrong. Hell I am left handed, and every time I see a picture of myself playing I can't help but notice how backwards it looks.

my first guitar was that color ...it was a "WAYNES WORLD" Squire.
Remember the Strat that Wayne would take out of the case?
It was modeled after that. (WHITE) ...getting off topic

I know a guy who always says that there shouldn't even be left-handed guitars made at all. He thinks you should learn the play the instrument the way it was originally intended...

His point is that there aren't any left-handed pianos.

BTW I don't agree with him and I'm not even left-handed.

Yeah, I wish it were that simple. I often wish I would have learned to play right handed but the connection between my brain and hands literally forced me to flip the guitar over.....it was more like an instinct than a choice.

being a lefty who plays righty the lefts are a thing of beauty, wish they had them when I was a kid, really think is stupid, since great musicians are left handed and they have so much trouble finding a decent guitar.

So left handed Fenders and Gibsons look wrong do they? What tosh! As an owner of a lefthanded Strat and a Les Paul I think they look pretty damn good! We leftys sure have a hard time of it. I've never heard of a righty playing lefty out of choice but I'm forever being advised on various forums that I should make the effort to play right handed. What a nerve! I'm sure I'm much the same as everyone else in that I do things in what seems to be the most natural and comfortable way. For me playing the guitar lefthanded was and is completely natural. Why should I struggle against nature? You rightys really don't know you are living!
