    Looks legit.
Be warned though, it may make the rest of your guitars slowly fade into the background.

We'll see. Haven't found a Strat I've liked yet and I've had a few CS Fenders.

I should rephrase that. I've had 2 CS Strats and a myriad of Standards and Deluxes, none of them wet my whistle. Maybe it's the 9.5 radius, not sure. The one compound radius I had was OK but there seemed to be fret buzz I just couldn't get rid of.

You can ask Suhr’s customer service to email you the guitar’s specs sheet (using the SN in the back of the headstock), and then compare.

not sure what makes it ugly but there has been modifications. It looks like the pickguard was cut for a chrome cover.

Yes sir. It has cost me a small fortune this past year trying to remove all the Chinese knock offs from Ali Express and the like.

I guess the Chinese will fake any guitar, even one that’s basically a Fender style with the end of the headstock cut down.

I caught that as well. That's why I posted this, because of the pickguard. You say modifications, plural. What else has been modified that you see?

That is like saying all guitars are the same because of the shape. A simplistic view and not the reality I live in.

Well I don’t know really. But where there is one cockroach there is probably another. If you send a support ticket to customer service they will get you a spec sheet. It does seem like a good price if everything is in order.

I don't have it yet but it comes with everything, tools, spec sheet, gig bag. I had a buddy grab it for me. Hopefully it's good. I bought it from a guy I know who is a collector, I'll have to check with him and see if he modded it at all.
