Les Paul Classic? 1K?

Found a Les Paul Classic for sale in my area for 1k. It is definitely a real Gibson. I noticed it does have a mini toggle boost instead of one of the tone pots.

Anyone familiar with these? The classics I see online all have the standard four pots.

That looks like it. He has a recent receipt, so I'm pretty sure it isn't stolen. Seller says he needs to sell immediately to fund a new hot water heater.

Hah - it is mine. Felt bad for the guy. I believe he is over his head I debt - was driving a newer Dodge Challenger RT. I wanted to see if he would take $900, but I just couldn't do it. I paid him a grand for it. Feels like a keeper. I'll have to post pics of it and the 6120 I picked up for 1500 three weeks ago.

Great deal. Did you get it in the surf green? I love that color, it's one thing Gibson did right in 2014. Rip out the boost and put a proper second tone control on there if you're inclined.

IMHO, good on you for not gouging him. Sounds like you got a great deal.
