Thinking about tracking down a combo in the 10-20 watt range that will give up the goods with a Les Paul and a Fuzz Face.
    18 watter?
    5E3?
Anyone with experience, what has worked with this setup for you? Thinking ZZ Top, early Cream, something in that vein.

I can recommend a 24 watter that sounds AWESOME with my skinpimp face plant..

    Supro Dual Tone reissue!

1974x, Dr. Z Carmen Ghia or Maz 18, Tungsten Crema Wheat, hell my Peavey Classic 30 rips with an SG and Fuzz Face.

As long as the amp can get a bit of bite out in front I think you'll have a hard time finding one that doesn't work with a LP and a fuzz.

I used a LP>bonamassa FF> Cub III(15watt) for a long time. AWESOME singing lead tones and great creamy rhythm stuff.

Ac15 is a fine option two. More so on the Normal channel than the Top Boost.

I've been using a BadCat HC15 for about ten years now, and for the average room most of us get to play in, it's more than enough juice. If I need more, I add a Fuchs ODS30 and run a stereo rig.

Agreed. I love to use a germanium fuzz face with my Reinhardt MI-6.
