my Suhr Hedgehog/HH212 cab is the best sounding amp i've ever owned.

(that said, i REALLY love the tone and feel and onboard digital verb of my affordable little Fender Bassbreaker 15)

I intend to try an NOS Jan 5751 in V2 (first gain stage of the OD channel) to see what that does. The gain does come on fast! But I love it as is and as weird as it might look, i've gotten great tones with the gain below 9:00. Even 8:00.

'66 Vox AC50 is my favorite, however if I just had to go down to one amp, I would choose the Mesa Mark IVA I have, due to more versatility.

I have limited experience with amps. Im not a collector.

I cant really make a snap judgement in a store.

Usually, I have to live with one for a while to really get the most out of it.

That limits my opinion to amps Ive owned.

My current favorite is my vht12/20.

Id love to own a tweed twin like Clapton plays. Although, it could be too much amp for my needs.

I don't have one nor do I need one but if I did, that'd be the one I'd get.

It's a modded JTM45 circuit...so many ways to run it with switchable rectifiers and cathodes.
