I will be swapping in a Fidelitron pickup from a Cabronita into the neck position of my tele. I want to keep the regular bridge setup, but don't know what traditional tele bridge pickup would be a good compliment to the Filter'Tron type pickup. Furthermore, I am keeping the 1 vol. 1 tone & 3 way switch. So I am looking for ideas on pot value.

Just starting a thread seeking inspiration.

Let's see your teles with anything but a covered single cool in the neck. Maybe give a rundown of the control setup, please.

Klein Broadcaster in the bridge, Klein S6 (no longer available) in the neck. Typical Tele electronics/controls.

    I love Strat neck pickups.

Agramal, what value pots did you choose to compromise between the Humbucker and single coil?

'97 Fender California Tele with a VV P90 neck pickup. Framing standard bridge pickup. Standard Tele controls (250k pots, .047 cap).

I don't think the pots were changed from stock, actually. I was always surprised that there isn't a big volume jump between the two, but then again I had a very good tech set it up.

A couple of setups with the same guitar.

P90 (Suhr S90) was great with the lil '59 in the bridge. 500k pots x2.

Twin Duncan Custom Shop "StratTele" middle and bridge sounded good once I put a single coil in the bridge. 5 way switch, Volume and Tone.

I'm a simple guy. It's been an esquire for years now. Volume & Tone.

These are great! Any suggestion on a pickup to pair with a neck 'Tron?
I am a thinking Fralin SP43 or Lollar Special T or J Street.

    Bump for more sweet pics.
I just got great deals on a Fender FideliTron neck pickup and a Fralin SP43 Tele bridge pickup.
I think my Tele might become something other than a Tele in terms of tone.

My crappy Squier Tele. It was originally a single coil bridge pickup/humbucker neck guitar. The guitar played great so I did some horse trading for it then installed P90s and the bridge, all from GFS. It's a good gigging guitar and cuts through the cacophony of a 2 guitar band. It will be relegated to backup status now that I have a nice Les Paul.
