Partscaster. Would probably have looked better with a rosewood fretboard, or a white pickguard.
Ok. Membrane tediously removed. More impressive in person though!
Man, you're absolutely right haha. Whoops!
Off topic but, what pickup are you using in the bridge and does it still quack in the #2 switch position?
Oh, I agree that rosewood would be a better choice with that one but it's still very nice!
This one started out as a Stew-mac kit. Walnut stain on a mahogany body and it has a Roland GK-2 modified to fit inside the body. I think it turned out great.
I'm in the process of ordering a Spitfire Tort guard for my KO Marr Jaguar. I'm just trying to figure out which color of tort to go with because the KO is such an unusual/weird color (like a faded candy apple red).
And with neck:
Bestus looking one on this thread!!

Here's some closeups of 60s Fender tortoise I've taken for my own reference. Fender seems to have sourced an order of a 3 ply red/white/black tortoise for use on Mustangs and Duo Sonics about 1964 that has an unusually deep and vibrant red top layer compared to the other tortoise materials which are lighter and more orange, and prone to fading to an even lighter and more blotchy orange. Some of that material seems to have been used for some Jaguars too.

I have actually removed the scratchplate sticker now.

Lots of tort is too red for my taste ...definite no go as it looked too "plastiky" and cheesy to my eyes. But when it's more subdued, I like, a lot! Found this pg and picked it up immediately
Diggin the look of this a lot ...very nice!
