I'm going to leave this here for people to enjoy. So glad I saw this. Just awesome.
I dislike these type shows. Emotionally manipulative, fake drama, etc., but this performance just slays me. The human brain is an amazing thing. You can see the love of this kids family and imagine the challenges he has faced in his life. Thanks for posting.
Agreed. These shows were created because a bunch of frankly horrible people want to be entertained by 20% talent, 40% laughing at people who aren't talented, and 40% Simon being rude to people.
But this guy was incredible. He's above the level of AGT, and I'm glad he will quickly rise out of that orbit.
I completely agree with you both, and feel the same way. I came across it when a cousin posted on Facebook. I do not watch these shows. And yes, it completely slayed me too. Just amazing!!!
Yeah, these shows are canned and scripted to produce a very specific reaction from the TV audience.
Knowing they deliberately are looking for people like this to manipulate us, I don't care. I'm just glad to have heard this kid and hope he and his family net a world of good and good will from his involvement.
As a father of an autistic child im feakin balling right now. Just awesome.
Uplifting ! Thanks for sharing!
That was a beautiful moment and a shining example of the best music can be and what it can bring
+1. Kicked me hard in the feels.
Beautiful and heart touching!!!!!! The way the world should/could be......filled with joy.
Seen this on fb. Pretty incredible.
Less incredible is op’s grasp of “hold my beer”.
And could there have been a more perfect song that Leon's "A Song For You"? I mean, really...could there have been?
Watching someone, who is in such a completely different place, reach across what seems to me to be such an impossible void to tell his mom he loves her, and to thank her for his life... To do it so eloquently. The most beautiful and special thing I have ever seen in music. And I mean that. Just amazing.
