The old Emporium bump system made it straightforward to discern which posts were truly new and which ones had been there for an extended period/forever (just look at post count). I appreciate and share the desire to facilitate selling and an active marketplace. I understand how "auto bumping" could contribute to this result (less work for sellers, active posts get prioritized). Shopping/buying is an important part of the marketplace though too. Buyers now have to work harder to search for what they want (or could justify buying - this is the Emporium!). Idea #1: turn on the originally posted feature and enable sorting [can pop up the newest posts quickly]. Idea #2: limit the number of bumps so old posts don't perpetually get bumped [only truly active ones; some version of this may be in place - haven't sold anything since the change]. Thanks to our Moderator staff for making TGP a great place to learn, sell gear, and hang out.
