One of my all time favourite AC/DC songs is Hells Bells from the Classic 1980 album Back in Black. I recorded all the guitars and I swear the singer on this track is a GIRL !!! Karmen Acevedo is as close to Brian Johnson in vocal delivery as I have heard and the girl has a simply huge voice .....give her a listen and hear for yourself, you will be surprised, I promise you.

That was awesome. And yes the singer can really nail the original! (But it isn't a requirement to me though)

Dood...that chick gots Brian Johnson nailed. If you dropped the gain slightly it would be perfect. She must drink hot motor oil every morning like Brian Johnson does. I tried the same, but all I get are the runs.

    Excellent cover of the tune!

I'm curious, what amp and speakers did you use?

As far as the vocals go, great job there too! I'd adjust that reverb a bit on both the vocals and the guitar solo to get it a bit more subtle. Perhaps a faster decay or something. What did you use for reverb?

clip was cut with my R9 straight into a POD 2.0 i keep around the house and thats where the gtr reverb came from , karmens vocals were fully recorded and mixed by her so i guess she has a reverb on her vocal equipment. Thanks for the positive words.

Drop the sweep picking, and add some backup gang vocals on the chorus.

This is pretty sweet though. My throat hurt just like it does everytime I hear Brian, that's saying something ;)

    Cool.

LOL ...I NEVER play solos straight from the record, there is always a lil bit of jimmy in all solos i play, thats what keeps it interesting for me as i seldom ever play em the same way twice. Good observation and thanks for taking the time to make a comment....I appreciate it.
