    This is truly beyone belief. Check out the last 45 seconds if you do not like it, but how can you NOT?? Every hair on my body was standing on end through the entire clip!!

    That was unreal. "Violin" tone is an apt description since her voice seemed to sound more like a flute or violin there at the end.

    Pretty amazing singing!

    Good lawd, and I thought Mariah Carey had the only voice capable of going that high! But not even Mariah can vibrato like Lily did- that is something else.

    Mariah was influenced by Minnie Ripperton who could also hit some high notes.

    Thanks you guys and glad you are digging her. I have had her "best of" album set since I was a kid. Always got chills from her voice. Not to hard on the eyes either! :)

    Amazing. Her voice is an instrument. It's as much her tone as it is the notes she hits. Thanks.

    Agree, and the intonation on the fast stuff is beyond belief! Not just slurring through, but hitting those notes! :eek: Check out her version of the bell song some time. Another real eye (ear) opener.

    She has a nice delicate way of doing the Rossini. Many beautiful parts...the ending is great.

    Remember that Three Stooges episode where they had Curly faking like he could sing and he was dressed up like a woman? I think he was miming to some Lilly Pons record.....:D
