Not sure if a thread on this guy already exists but I got the GC ad in the mail the other day and saw fenders new Limited edition tele with an all rosewood neck and couldn't help but be real interested. Has anyone played one or own one? Looks super pretty. I saw the limited edition rosewood neck strat in GC a while back, but I've already got a strat I love. This thing though looks great with the surf green!

I like it. Glad to see Fender doing stuff like this recently.

I thought these had already come and gone - they came out at the NAMM show in January. According to the guys at my local GC they got in 1 and sold it within 2 days so I never got to try it.

Since it's in the latest GC mailer maybe they are doing a second run.

I bought one locally. From what I understand it was the second one they got in. Mine has been one of the better guitar acquisitions I have made in several years.....great guitar.

    Yep,
    Got mine yesterday.
    What a great feeling Tele!
Sounds great too...that Twisted Tele/Broadcaster pup combo is fabulous.

I got the same guitar about three months ago and absolutely love it! It's my first telecaster ever and I couldn't be happier with it! Everything from blues to rock this thing is mean!

I have made a few mods to mine, and the guitar just shines no matter what I do. It is now an Esquire with a vintage style bridge. Three compensated titanium saddles that intonates extremely well. Great guitar!

I tried one of the rosewood neck Strats and the neck felt really good. Haven't had the luck to try the Telecaster yet.
Rosewood necks look and feel so good. Been thinking about having one made for a Jazzmaster.

    Modern, in a word.
A bit slender/slinky...and, due to the rosewood, very slippery!
    I like it.
    No stick at all.
And, of course, it looks tasty enough to be edible!
