and you win , intresting so helix without the deep editing
Digital Igloo , won't have to eat a shoe
No XLR outputs. If cheap enough, I'd bite.
Interesting. I'm not interested cause I don't like the amp sounds on my HX Stomp enough to warrant over the FM3, but I think its a great looking product. Of course, all depends on the price. If under $500, it'll do well I bet.
In one page one.
Can't wait to find out more about this.
First random observations...
Wall wart required.
Wish they had left off the expression pedal. It looks a little flimsy.
Looks like all the HX amps/effects are in there.
10 Blocks on the screen in the pictures. Have to believe there's a single DSP chip in this.
Interesting comments about the POD starting around 18-23 minutes in this video.
POD reincarnation for $100
I’ve always wanted to announce a modeler. It’s not a flagship modeler, though. Maybe someday...
So, minor tweaking ability on ported HX sounds? Should fit the bill for another section of the market. I had a buddy borrow my HX Stomp and loved the sound but hated all the tweaking. This might be just for him.
Hopefully, this isn't the big reveal. Holding out for new Variax.
OMG what is this I NEED DETAILS
Wait..there's an edit app? Please tell me this is coming to the Helix family.
In the link it says it’s part of the HX family, whatever that means. I’m guessing a Helix cousin inbred with the Pod family.
IMHO Looks like respun FireHawk FX, , no MIDI I/O - designed for a price and utilization of grab & go all in one.
No 3.5mm TRS Aux Input is a shame
Very cool. Subscribed.
It has IR loading from what the gear news site shows. Nice little form factor.
FWIW The gearnews release mentions IR support.
ETA: Beaten by 1m by a Turkey
Really curious if this has two DSPs or if there is some restriction to the FX chain/presets that keeps the DSP in check...and hopefully there will be an update the allows a similar number of blocks on the stomp
I'm going to assume that this is a fusion of HD level amp modeling with HX level effects models and HX features.
Also using HX modeling without HX branding feels like this little guy is the black sheep in the family.
