Just as the title says. I met Kurt a few years back and had a great time talking about vintage guitars and his own as well. The reversed bridge pickup has always intrigued me. What are your thoughts?

I am currently in process of building the next generation of Linhofs. After he passed, a friend of his found many unfinished guitars. I was commisioned to help get these out to the public. I like the reverse slant. It is a bit different in a less bright way. The low end is very transparent and alive. The top is a bit softer. Great balance with the P92 neck pickup.

The bridge PUP on my Scarlet Fire Wolf is reverse angled, too. I like it but, interestingly, the overall impact is less than I'd expected it would be.

I have a reversed bridge pickup on one of my teles. The low end gets more snap and bite, and the high end gets the edge taken off a bit. It's great for a bright tele style guitar where you need a bit more balance.
