Fair enough. Dead horse beaten sufficiently.
You will never get me in another Datsun, I don't care how much cash you offer.
A guy I know has a green Datsun 121Y, three door littleish thing, he removed the back seats to make room for the front seats because the idiot removed the stock 1.2 liter engine and dropped in a hemmy 450 big block in it's place, which required a huge amount of front end work and fabrication, so much so that the engine firewall had to be moved almost as far back as the front seats where originally located. Likewise with the dashboard and all the hand and foot controls. And the icing on the cake, the idiot drops in two oversized NOS kits. Not only is this car not street legal - this thing will easily do a quarter of a mile in well under 10 seconds if you can keep the front wheels on the ground when you launch it, but it's a Datsun, you can spit peas through them their QC is that great, so it scares the hell out of me.
Always wanted one of these...Lotus Europa "John Player Special"...and got down to final negotiations but it always fell through much to my disappointment. Probably a blessing in disguise because they can sprout problems like crabgrass.
The reason I knew there was a potential for problems was because I did own this Lotus Elan +2s and lost my shirt keeping that car running...

But some come with happy endings, this is a BMW 2002 from the early 70's that I owned that was a great car and fun to drive.

That would have to be the Porsche 962.
I don't know what the red car is but that is sex on wheels. That old Merc is cool too
Another dream car for me is the MK1 Jaguar E Type, specifically one of the ones my uncle has, he's got 2 both in British Racing Green - the only colour for a Jag really, one which has been restored completely to stock which is useless for him as the fuel tank doesn't hold enough petrol for him to get from his house to his closest petrol station. The second one he owns is also a MK1 E Type, though he sent this one to a specialist company in New Zealand that spacialises in turning classic cars into everyday drivers complete with all the latest technologies from the original manufacturer, so even though this MK1 E Type has the original body, everything else from the frame, engine, transmission, brakes, gears and ECU was made by Jaguar less than 3 years ago, this car actually looks stock until you pop the hood or turn the engine on.
Again it's not the cost of buying this car that puts me off ever wanting one, it the cost to insure it that puts me off ever owning one, and is why I'll probably only ever buy a sensible for my needs type of car later this year when I take my driving test.
That's easy for me;

The red one is an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. It was love at first sight for me. The Merc just always makes me grin from ear to ear.
Pick about any one at this point. I'm pretty much done.
Cayman GT4. I bet they just keep going up in value.
That was such a GREAT motor...V4 750! It was certainly good enough for the Interceptor.
Fort Myers is not too far for me, but I am definitely not in the market for a bike now. This does look like a nice one and only $2K!
My cousin Dennis had the 79, gold on black with the gold honeycomb wheels. I was in 5th grade and awe.
My son glanced at this and said it looks like Sheriff from Cars. I looked it up. He nailed it.
Yeah it's not far off.
Well, my dream car is a Ford Mustang 1968 Fastback
If you're stylin....
Or, go Yugo or don't go at all...
You cats and your sports cars. Ho hum.
Theres a few, but one that I've always liked was the Toyota MR2. I don't know quite why I like it, but I do:

Wow, a former coworker had what appears to be that exact car. He took forever to restore it, but once done looked pretty much like this one in every detail.
