Discovered Mooers recently, and I'm gonna jump on at least 5 of them soon. I'll probably end up paying less than one boutique or two mass-production gadgets!

Thought I'd put together a list of the circuits these little buggers are based on, and here's what I have so far:

Mooer Ensemble King - Boss CE2
Mooer Ana Echo - Boss DM2
Mooer Twin Looper - Boss RC20?
Mooer Eleclady - EHX Electric Mistress
Mooer Triangle Buff - EHX Triangle Muff
Mooer Hustle Drive - Fulltone OCD
Mooer Green Mile - Ibanez TS9
Mooer Cruncher - MI Audio Crunchbox
Mooer Blue Comp - Boss CS2
Mooer Ninety Orange - MXR Phase 90
    Mooer Black Secret - RAT
    Mooer Solo - Suhr Riot?
    Mooer Bass Sweeper - ?
    Mooer Blade - ?
    Mooer Blue Faze - ?
Mooer Blues Crab - Marshall Bluesbreaker
    Mooer Echolizer - ?
Mooer Flex Boost - Xotic AC Boost
    Mooer Pitch Box - ?
Mooer Pure Boost - Xotic RC Boost
    Mooer Pure Octave - ?
    Mooer Reecho - Boss DD2
Mooer ShimVerb - Strymon Blue Sky
    Mooer Trelicopter - Demeter Tremulator
    Mooer Super Bender - ?
Mooer Little Monster AC - ?
    Mooer Ultra Drive - ?

Anything you can add to the list would definitely be appreciated!

BTW, I have 4 Mooers on the way. Hustle Drive, Cruncher, Ensemble King, and Pure Boost.

Is the Blues Mood really the Keeley version of the BD2 or just the original BD2?

I have two Mooer pedals now with a third one in the mail... May be buying two or three more.

Blade is based on the EHX Metal Muff, their Rage Machine pedal on the other hand is based on the Boss Metal Zone.

Aah. Got them mixed up, have a few of these, dunno about the digital ones but I will probably get allthe analog ones that are not "metal".

The Pitch box is definitely got a Boss Harmonist vibe, with a bit too much warble (pitch wavering)

Pure Octave is a EHZ Micro Pog with a really bad warble

It could be either, although I'm still leaning towards the Metal Zone because if you watch this demo, it seems like it has way too much Distortion on tap. It sounds like an HM-2 at the lowest distortion setting.

    that's possible :dunno

Considering how close their other clones are in terms of the knobs (even down to the font), though, it would suggest the hm2... but i say that having not tried it, i.e. take that with a massive pinch of salt :rotflmao

Pitchbox looks more like the Boss PS-5 or PS-6 than a whammy... Pure Octave is close to the POG2

"based on circuit XY" will probably be true for most of the analog boxes.

I would however disagree to the statement that the Mooer Shimverb is "based on the circuit of the Strymon Blue Sky Reverb". I don't own either, but ...

    A. Based on the size of the Shimverb I would doubt that it uses the same circuit like the Strymon BSR.

    B. Well, identic circuits are not necessary to create identic sounding digital devices. What matters would rather be available processing power (plus RAM) and algorithms used. I doubt that the Mooer people have "hacked" the Strymon pedals and have access to the BSR algos.

    C. From the soundclips I have heard, I would say: BSR sounds way better than the ShimVerb. ShimVerb also uses different intervals (added 5th, while BSR uses only octaves). But it also seems to me like a "cheaper implementation", more simple algo requiring less processor power.

So MikeTz is more accurate by calling the ShimVerb "inspired by Strymon BSR", same is true for the Pitch shifters.
