Hi, all. Been on the site for a while. Hadn’t checked-out the Soundhound Lounge until today. Here’s our band, The Brannock Device. Started in Kansas City in the mid-90s. Been through a couple of iterations. Now back to the original trio and KC-Chicago-based these days - we put out a new album at the end of last year. RIYL: Minutemen, Poster Children, House of Large Sizes, fIREHOSE, NoMeansNo. Enjoy!
demo of a song that i ultimately like better than the "real" version
love the main rhythm guitar to this
Heres a taste of some of my music....
more 60's / 90's amalgamations
All I ever got around to recording professionally:
This thing comes out on 9/28/18.......
Tapes, flexi single, download or the dreaded repulsive cd. Take your pick: https://spectrumsdc.bandcamp.com/album/ii
My 3 song EP "Land Astronaut" is available digitally everywhere (iTunes, Spotify, Etc). Here is link of links but is pretty handy
also available via https://oddsnnds.bandcamp.com - which has all links as well
If you dig the sounds, feel free to comment in the thread in the artist spotlight forum here
This is The Empty Spot, a 6-track EP that got finally released about week ago.
It's up on pretty much every store as well as BandCamp, and there's the mandatory thread on the Artist Spotlight if you feel like commenting.
Started preorders for Spacelord's next LP.
My band's debut full-length album is now available to purchase and download on iTunes and Amazon Music.
In the studio I played PRS guitars ('06 Singlecut, '14 and '17 CU24 Floyds) through a Diamond Phantom and a Dual Rec on a couple of songs. The other guitarist in my band played a PRS SE Singlecut and a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder through an '01 Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100 (which is my old amp).
This is our most recent (and second) one. You can get on iTunes, cd baby etc etc etc, but we make more if you get it from our site.
you can preview it here
After my last band crumbled away, the drummer and I kept on going as a duo. For the moment, we're a studio-based project - the studio being a makeshift affair in his basement that nonetheless produced results we're very happy about. He sings and drums, and I take care of the rest. The music is pop/rock that's influenced by bands from the '60s through the '80s.
The band is called Interrupter Jones, and we've just released our first album: Live From Madison Square Basement. It's available for download through Amazon and a bunch of other online stores. CDs are coming next month.
Here are a few of our favorite tracks:
TRAILER PARK VAMPIRE (WAITING FOR THE NIGHT) 80s based hard rock music with melodic solos. Power trio of bass-drums and me on gtr/vocals. Get it on ebay and I have a few videos on youtube.
Our band Richard's Blues Band released a single "T'S Blues" earlier this year.
Here is a live performance of the song.
I wrote a funk single "Funk You Up" about all of the violence in New Orleans and hired some great musicians to record the song. It is released under my name.
