Thanks for checking it out good Sir.

I reckon that's better than going super nova, but it probably doesn't matter anyways. I do however appreciate the opportunity to get a few spins around our Star before that happens, and hope future generations do as well.

I like it,...nicely done. Very organic sounding recording, open and airy,... not overly compressed or normalized. Great vocal harmonies. Neil Young with a dash of Blue Rodeo type of vibe but with your own individuality.

The name of our band is Orp, and we just released our new album Orp 4.

Our regular line-up is electric guitar, electric piano and electric cello, but this is our first release without the piano, as we opted for a much heavier, less pensive sound than on our previous albums. Stylistically, we are located somewhere at the intersection of post-rock, drone, ambient and EAI.

    The album is available
    - digitally on all important streaming and download sites
    - physically as a limited edition CD which can be bought on our Bandcamp page.

To listen and buy, go to https://o-r-p.bandcamp.com/album/orp-4

OK, folks: here's my band's debut release just out, Fueled Up. The band is Blue Nitro, an American rock, blues and funk band I formed in Chicago in 2016. The EP was recorded in ten days at the studio of our drummer John Marrella, formerly of Lovin' Spoonful and Head East.

The EP is available here on Spotify, as well as cdbaby, Amazon, Apple Music, iTunes and other outlets.

I'm pretty happy with how the guitars came out, especially the twin solos on the first song. Also, I'm happy to chat if anyone wants to know about the gear used - any guesses?

My band Bright Shiny Things just released our first album. We're based out of St. Louis, MO

It's kind of weird hard alternative, with time and tempo changes, and lots of piano and synth. Lots of noise coming from only three players. I'm the sole guitarist and 50% songwriter. The middle three songs (Act 1 - Act 3) are a Zombie Apocalypse trilogy. Tracking was done in our practice space, and all mixing and mastering was done by me. For fans of Coheed and Cambria, Brand New, Clutch, and (dare I say?) Rush.

We can be heard on Spotify:
    Our Facebook is at https://www.facebook.com/brightshinyband/
You can buy the album from CDBaby at https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/brightshinythings

here's my band's debut full length - recorded DIY in our house and mastered by a friend.

people have described it as kind of surfy, folky garage rock https://dwellermusic.bandcamp.com/
you can download it for $3 or order a cassette tape

    its also on spotify:

hope you like it if you check it out!

Hey all! My band released our debut single on Friday, and I’m really excited to share it! We’re an indie/alt rock band, and some of my main influences are Silversun Pickups, Slowdive, Blonde Redhead, etc., if that’s helpful. This single is in support of our full length album which is coming out on April 5th. Hope you enjoy!

As you’ll see, there are 10 new songs so far (new ones released every 6-8 weeks or so) since we re-formed, and then a bunch of stuff from our rather different ‘90s ‘heyday’. I’d be curious as to which era people think is better. I’m the lead singer/writer of ‘Real’, ‘Crazy Horse’, ‘PowerUP!’, ‘California’ and ‘a Call to Arms’. Completely self-produced. I totally welcome any feedback!

I know I mentioned this above, but we’re an indie/alt rock band, and some of my main influences are Silversun Pickups, Slowdive, Blonde Redhead, etc., if that’s helpful. I have been sitting on some of these songs for over a decade, so it feels great to finally release them into the world!

My band just released a new 4 song EP. Saving up to go record an album in a real studio. Hope you enjoy!

The music is fast paced alternative rock/punk rock. Big guitars, big drums.
