Well now it's time to wish you a Happy New Year. ;)

That DIY octavia sounds just great!
I guess the SCH-1 is Landau in a box...he uses it on a lot of his cleaner stuff. Looking for one for yourself now?

Yup, Happy New Year, Adam : )

The SCH-1 does a bit of tone-suck on bypass, if get one I'm gonna rehouse it in a true bypass box. The only thing is I've got a Skreddy Screwdriver coming in a month or so, and only one place left on my pedalboard, so....

    :D:D

I was thinking about it, but since everything's true bypass, adding more stuff is just gonna deteriorate the dry signal to the amp. I've got the BJFE Sea Blue EQ on most of the time, so that's acting like a buffer anyways. The MPX-1 can handle most of the mod stuff as well.

The good news is that the Little Lanilei has a FX return using its clean 50W solid state power section, so I can have a wet-dry rig with very little extra baggage to carry along : )

Ya know...maybe people watching me at gigs think my tone is boring, but I only use a clean/distorted rhythm setup with no mod effects and use a lead (volume level) boost with a bit of delay for solos. All my pedals are in the closet...we go through phases with our gear. :D

I bet I'll get sick of running dry and pull the pedals out again.

I've been there myself - guitar, cable, booster and amp. Then I started listening to Landau :D

Landau is like crack....his tone and his playing (feeling it through note choice) is so nice.

I get on Landau kicks and that's all I listen to for weeks. :D

Guys in LA are spoiled to have him playing nearby all the time.

If he plays in Toronto, come fly out and we'll see him together...will only cost you a few grand...I'll buy dinner. :D
